If yes, and the medicine is listed, but has specific criteria associated with it, then the prescriber must make sure that the criteria apply. If it is not listed, then the prescriber has to prepare and submit a request to the NB Pharmaceutical Services Branch for review and approval. Any medicines approved through the special authorization process may need to be renewed.
