If yes, you are eligible to apply for coverage under the Catastrophic Drug Program. New applications must be submitted annually. After approval, you should be eligible to receive full public coverage of all prescribed medicines that are listed on the PEI Pharmacare Formulary. However, you will have to pay an annual income-based deductible between 3-12% of annual household income, depending on your income level. The formulary is available online and is updated regularly.
